Your important data
Every client's data is treated with the utmost care to ensure no breach of our privacy policy or the data protection act occurs. Personal files or emails are never opened whilst the machine is in for service unless requested by the client for the purposes of testing or configuring etc.
Very sensitive/mission critical data
In the unlikely event of equipment theft, data would be vulnerable. For this reason, clients are advised to keep any highly sensitive data on an external device e.g. pen drive or CD, separate from the PC unit. (a regular backup should be kept as a matter of course)
If such data must be stored on the PC's internal hard drive then it should be encrypted for safety. If you'd like to know more about encrypting your data for security purposes then please get in touch.
The Newsletter
The only information required to receive the periodical email newsletter from this site is your email address. If you received an email from this site, (a) your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of newsletters. We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
